My Story
I was about 9 months from graduating with a degree in Radiography when I was introduced to Scentsy. I fell in love with the product and was HOOKED as a customer because of the safety feature of the flameless product with my young child. A few months later we did a fundraiser for a conference for school and I was shocked at how truly EASY it was to sell the product (I have NEVER been the sales person type and always failed miserably at fundraisers before this one.) I told my husband I was going to join and he actually LAUGHED at me because he knew I how bad of a “sales person” I was. I asked him to trust me because I felt this product was good enough that I could just SHARE and it would do the selling part itself. It did NOT disappoint!! We moved right after I graduated and I used the opportunity to have a couple parties a month just for a little extra spending money for our family so that I could stay home with our son and grow our family. It wasn’t until almost a year and a half after I joined, though, that I FULLY understood the opportunity before me. I was 7 months pregnant at convention in late July 2010 when I had my AH-HA moment and realized that this could be SO much more than just a little spending money!! I am SO thankful for the opportunity Scentsy has given us. It has changed our lives in unimaginable ways. In addition to bringing our family together to share in this business and providing extra money, it has given me a whole new family I would have never known through the amazing friendships I have made along this journey.
